How many `ex - Damper Shop people` will remember Aubrey Reed and Barrie Ford from the old `Damper Shop` days. Aubrey now lives in New Zealand after emigrating from Cwmbran, he has just celebrated his 80th birthday!! Barrie visited him in April 2010.

.. Presentation Circa 1958 - Nov.1959.
Mel Hillman relates: I believe the gentleman on the left is Val Wiggins and he was transferring to the Birmingham factory. My mother is the middle one of the five on the right hand side; although her name was Kate Hillman, she was always known as 'Bet'
Mel Hillman relates: My mother is the first one standing on right hand side.
Mel Hillman relates: This one is of my mother's own retirement party - November 1969 in the old Autumn Rooms above Kibby's Supermarket in the Town Centre. She is second standing from the right. The only other I can remember is the small lady standing in the middle who was called Olwyn.
